Subnautica 2
Base Power Planner
Full output above the surface; falls to zero below 200 m and drops to a quarter at night.
Output scales with the water temperature around it — near-useless in cold water, best beside vents and lava.
Burns organic matter loaded into its slots — steady output anywhere, as long as it stays fuelled.

Conditions
How base power works
Solar Panels
Best near the surface in daylight. Output holds full down to 180 m, then falls to nothing by 200 m, and drops to a quarter overnight — so pair them with storage or a second source for deep or dark bases.
Thermal Plants
Convert the surrounding water's heat into power, so they only shine next to vents, lava and other hot spots. In ordinary cold water they idle near their 1 E/s floor — this is why a thermal plant can read as "not giving power".
Bioreactors
Burn organic matter loaded into their 10 slots for steady power anywhere, day or night — ideal for deep bases where solar dies, as long as you keep them fed.
Storage & draw
Power Storage banks surplus energy for the hours or depths where generation dips. Fabricators, tools and vehicle chargers draw from the same pool as they're used, so size your generation for the peaks, not the average.
Generation figures are the exact in-game values for each source. Solar depth and day/night falloff follow the game's own curves.
